Adios to Smelling Like a Hippie

Adios to Smelling Like a Hippie

And say hellooooo to Hola Deodorant. Formerly Fable Naturals, the creators have now found a new venture to take and I'm SO happy they did. They officially launched on March 08, 2017 and I can't imagine it being anything, but a success.

They currently have 3 different options ($20 CAD):

  1. Tee Tree Cedar
  2. Lavender Lime (got this one)
  3. Lemon Eucalyptus

All three are free of aluminum & harsh chemicals that have long term effects over time. They also use natural fragrances instead of perfumes to keep you smelling fresh.

Design:

Not that this should depict whether the product is good or not, I have to say that I absolutely love their design concept. It's super cute and fun. The packaging itself is glass which I prefer over plastic any day. It is smaller than I expected, but a little does go a long way. The lid is plastic as well with ridges to make it easier to grip.

Product:

It's creamy! At first I wasn't sure what to expect, but after my own attempt to make a DIY deodorant, I definitely prefer this consistency. It's not like lotion, but more like ice cream. I mean this because it looks solid at first, but will melt to the touch. It smells amazing and I love how not overpowering it is. I haven't fully tested out how much protection it gives you when you sweat - I'll try a yoga sesh tomorrow and give it a whirl. Does not need to be refrigerated.

Overall:

I love the company and what they're trying to accomplish. I think it's great that they have a specific focus. It's simple and straight to the point. You can also trust that they've put everything they got into providing an awesome product that truly works.

5/5 x love
